Тема урока: «Живи и трать!»
УМК: Английский язык. Английский в фокусе: учеб. для 10 кл. общеобразоват. организаций учреждений./ О.В.Афанасьева, Дж.Дули, И.В.Михеева, Б.Оби, В.Эванс.- М.: publishing: Просвещение, 2012г.
Класс:10б класс физико-математического профиля.
Продолжительность урока: 45 минут
Место в плане: начало курса.
Цель урока: Активизация изученных ЛЕ в устной и письменной речи, развитие навыков аудирования по теме.
Задачи:
1. Практическая:
а) активизировать изученные лексические  единицы по изучаемой теме;
б) совершенствовать навыки аудирования.
2. Образовательная:
а) совершенствовать актуальный словарный запас обучающихся.
3. Развивающая:
а) развивать логическое и критическое мышление;
б) развивать внимание, память (в том числе зрительную), способность к сравнению и сопоставлению, анализу фактов;
в) формировать навыки и умения интеллектуального труда: поиск и исследование необходимой информации;
е) развивать умения  и навыки работы в паре.
4. Воспитательная:
а) воспитывать у обучающихся интерес к изучению английского языка, овладение им как средством общения, познания, самореализации;
б) воспитывать потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи, познавательную активность учащихся, работая в паре.
в) воспитание культуры общения;
г) воспитание толерантности к стране изучаемого языка.
Оборудование:
- жк-телевизор, компьютер, презентация, карточки с упражнениями на слова по изучаемой теме, УМК для 10-го класса, карточки с заданиями к текстам.
I. Речевая разминка. Организационный момент.
Teacher:-Hello, my friends! Sit down, please! Vova, how are you today?
Teacher:-I am OK, thanks. Liza, how do you feel today?
Teacher: -Julia, tell me, please, who is absent today.
Teacher:-What day of the week is it today, Valera?
Teacher: - What is the date today?
Teacher: - What is the weather like today?
Teacher: - What is the temperature outside?
Teacher: - What is our topic?(слайд 1)
II. Сообщение плана урока.
Teacher:-You are right. Today we continue speaking about how, when and where we can spend our money. Listen to me I will explain the plan for the lesson:
-We are going to do some tasks, based on the topical vocabulary.
-We are going to do the audio today.
-We are going to read about some great sporting events in Britain..-We are going to listen to the teacher and to each other today.
-We are going to write down our homework today. Is it clear what we are going to do today?
Teacher:- If it is clear, tell me, please, what we are going to do today.
(“Feed-back” – дети показывают учителю, что они поняли, чем они будут заниматься на уроке, повторяя установки учителя).
III. Активизация изученных ЛЕ по теме. Подготовка к диктанту.
Teacher: - Let’s begin with the new words. I give you 1 minute to remember them. Work, please.
Teacher: - Stop, please. Close your notes with the new words. Open your copy-books for classwork. Write down the date (it is written on the blackboard), the word “classwork” and get ready to do some written tasks.
Teacher: - Are you ready?
Teacher: - Look at the screen, please. Your first task isto match the words (1-5) with their antonyms (a-e). You have 1 minute. (cлайд 2)

Teacher:- Now work in your exercise-books again. Look at the screen (слайд 5). There are two tasks for you. In exercise 2a) you should fill in the gaps with the given adjectives, in exercise 2b) – with the verbs. You have about 3 minutes.

Teacher: -Very good!The next task is based on word-building. Look at the screen (слайд 7). Form new words from the given ones. You have 1 minute. Do it in wring, please.

Teacher: - You’ve worked well. Next time you’ll write a dictation, based on the topical vocabulary. Now it’s time to have some rest. Sit comfortably, close your eyes. Think about something pleasant. Just relax for a couple of minutes. (слайд 9 + музыка)
V. Развитие навыков аудирования (у.1 с.39)
Teacher: - I think you are ready to work again. Look at the screen (cлайд 10). Here you can see 4 titles of different events which are very popular in Britain. I’ll read them out for you.

Teacher: - Have you ever heard about them?
Teacher: - Very good. So, it will be easier for you to answer my next question: what sphere of life are these events devoted to: business, sport, or high technologies?
Teacher: - You are completely right. These are well-known sporting events. Now we will do the audio. You will hear 4 texts. Your task is to match the texts 1-4 with the 4 titles from the screen A-D. Do it in your exercise-books, please. While listening, pay attention to the new words on the blackboard. They will help you to understand the texts:
