Сценарий урока в 7 классе, посвященного Дню рождения В. Шекспира
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! Today you’ll join all educated people of our planet who celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday. On April 25, 2016 Shakespeare’s lesson is held in a great number of schools in the Russian Federation. Perhaps just now someone is reciting his sonnet or one of his famous plays is being performed on the school stage.
I am very proud to say that there is a tradition of celebrating Shakespeare’s birthday in our school. Different parties and competitions in honour of William Shakespeare have been held since 1996. Look at this photo. In it you can see how my students and I celebrated the 432nd Shakespeare’s birthday. Even the special pie was baked!
Now the students of the 8th form will tell you some facts about the life of the greatest dramatist of all time. Try to be very attentive listeners because after a while you’ll be involved in some competition. One more thing I’d like to pay your attention to is that some pictures in the slide show are not from Shakespeare’s time. They are rather modern. However I haven’t changed them because it’s the way how the students feel.
Students: (Slide show)
When Slide 12 (In all Shakespeare wrote 37 plays, 2 long poems, and a sonnet cycle of 155 small pieces) is introduced the teacher says, “Let me recite one of my favourite sonnets. It is sonnet 130.”
Teacher: SONNET 130
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun;Coral is far more red than her lips' red;If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.I have seen roses damask'd, red and white,But no such roses see I in her cheeks; And in some perfumes is there more delightThan in the breath that from my mistress reeks.I love to hear her speak, yet well I knowThat music hath a far more pleasing sound;I grant I never saw a goddess go;My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground:And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rareAs any she belied with false compare.
The teacher says “Thank you” to the students of the 8th form and the lesson is continued.
Teacher: Now let’s form 3groups of 4 students. Your names are Shakespeare’s nicknames: Group1 - Bards of Avon; Group 2 - Swans of Avon; Group 3 – Bards. In your work papers you can see Shakespeare’s quiz. If you do it fast and correct you’ll be winners!
