Leontiev Main purpose of the motivation: How to realise this purpose? updating of the maintenance of education and strengthening of intersubject communications; to form different receptions of independent acquisition of knowledge; formation of an active vital position. Kinds of motives Orientation of pupils to mastering by new knowledge: Interest to laws in a teaching material, To the new entertaining facts, the phenomena, To theoretical principles, To main ideas. Orientation of pupils to ways of getting of knowledge, mastering of certain subjects : interest to receptions of independent acquisition of knowledge, To methods of scientific knowledge, To ways of self-control in studying, The rational organization of the work. The aspiration to receive knowledge to be useful in a society, in understanding of necessity to study and in a sense of responsibility; The aspiration to take a certain position, a place in relations with associates, to meet with their approval, to deserve their authority; The desire to be prepared effectively for the selected profession. What are the ways to increase motivation? Comprehension of the importance of knowledge; Application of heuristic, problem methods of training at lessons; Assessment as a way of formation of positive motives. There are different characteristics of motivation: On force (strong, weak); On stability (situational, constant); On an orientation (to itself, to people, to a problem - result or process); On an occurrence source (internal or external). Wide social motivation (e.g. Each cultural person should know at least one foreign language). Motivation connected with perspective development of the person (e.g. The foreign language can be useful in the further life). Communicative motivation (e.g. It is interesting to communicate, express the opinion, to discuss events). Internal motivation - The motivation generated by the educational activity (operational and instrumental motivation) E.g. It is pleasant to open new in grammar, to compare Russian with English; to read regional geographic texts and so on. Conditions for internal motivation of educational process Absence of the external control. Training problems should start with interests and aspirations of pupils. The lesson should be organized so that process of the teaching was interesting to pupils and caused pleasure of dialogue. The personality of the teacher and character of his/her relation to the pupils. Methods of stimulation and motivation of the learning Creation of problem situations; Creation of situations of informative novelty; Method of informative games; Method of educational discussions. Technologies of training for maintenance of steady interest in language studying The personal focused training. Method of projects. Technology of cooperation. Game technologies.
